Local author Sarah Condie will be doing a reading and signing of her children's book, A Gift from Grandma, at The Women’s Exchange.
The story follows a young girl named Eve who discovers there may be more to her grandmother’s colorful birthday gift than meets the eye. Along the way, she navigates friendship, a few surprises and a little bit of magic, all while learning to try new things and embrace the unexpected.
The book is designed to be something caretakers and kids can enjoy together, with hidden objects woven throughout the illustrations (including a Cardinal of course!) to make each reading interactive.
