While the weather was gloomy outside, inside it was a carnival atmosphere at Mercy Children’s Hospital. Volunteers brightened spirits with a fun carnival featuring traditional games, prizes, popcorn machine, face painting and more during Benefit for the Kids Week.
Benefit for the Kids Week honors the patients, families and caregivers who benefit from the 10th Annual Mercy Health Foundation Benefit for the Kids golf tournament and dinner auction. A full week of fundraising activities - trivia night, golf tournament, dinner auction and fun activities for the patients and co-workers - benefit programs and services at Mercy Children’s Hospital including the Mercy Children’s Therapy and Development Center, Emerson Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, pediatric intensive care unit and pediatric oncology.
To date, the Benefit has garnered more than $3.5 million to support children in our community.
