Chaminade Football Moves To 2-0 By Thumping Roosevelt
Anthon and Red Devils plow through Roosevelt in the first half to lead the way to a 54-6 win.

The Roosevelt Rough Riders had a rough ride home Friday afer getting handled by by a score of 54-6.
Senior kicker Mark Mullen gave the Devils the advantage of keeping the Riders backed up on their own side of the field for most of the game.
It was a team performance Chaminade Head Coach Doug Taylor said he wished he'd seen last week.

βWe were much improved from last week,β Taylor, whoβs in his 15th season at Chaminade, said.
Friday, senior running back Dixon Anthon scored two touchdowns in the first half on 18 carries and 179 total rushing yards. He added a third score in the second half.

Chaminade senior quarterback Logan Hutson displayed more focusΒ and confidence in his second start, connecting on three touchdown passes to senior receiver Matthew Greer.
Junior Brandon Minor was effective on both sides of the ball with an offensive touchdown, and an interception on defense which set up another score.
Chaminade picked off a total of 3 Codi Burgess passes on the night.
While he saw a dominating performance against an overmatched opponent this week, Taylor knows there are tougher times ahead.
βIf we donβt get better, we will get a lot worse,β he said.
