Charlie Lebens '14 earned a national championship with the St. Louis Rowing Club (SLRC) at the USRowing Youth National Championships held June 7-9, 2013 in Oak Ridge, Tenn. Lebens and his Men's Youth 4+ teammates won the gold medal with a time of 6 minutes 43 seconds. The USRowing Youth National Championships, a 2000 meter sprint race held over three days, drew competitors from 119 cities and 30 states. Men's Youth 4+ (with coxswain) Team BJ Francis '13 (Ladue), Charlie Lebens (Whitfield), Tom Kendrick '13 (Ladue), Jimmy Francis '14 (Ladue) and coxswain Andrew Grant '15 (Parkway Central).
