Creve Coeur Firms Not Spared In Stock Slide

Investors on Wall Street were not optimistic about the state of the global economy Thursday, and it showed once stocks were done trading for the day. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 512 points.

The Associated Press reports "all three major stock indexes are down 10 percent or more from their previous highs, a drop-off that is considered to be a market correction."
