Creve Coeur Neighborhood Getting An "Angioplasty"

According to a spokesperson for the Metropolitan Sewer District, repairs and cleanup work in Creve Coeur into Smith Creeek is complete.

Lance LeComb said what was left was a matter of pipe inspection work and what he described as something akin to an angioplasty procedure on pipes in the neighborhood around Chamblee Lane and Chasselle Lane.

No official cause of the break was identified, although crews on scene last week speculated the age of the pipes and tree roots in the area were possible factors.
