Landowners in participating municipalities, including residents, schools, churches, government entities, and businesses, are eligible to participate in the RainScape Rebates program. This is a voluntary program financially assisting those wishing to landscape to improve stormwater management. There are a variety of rainscaping options to choose from, including planting a rain garden; installing a rain barrel; amending soil; and replacing lawn grass with trees, shrubs, and low-maintenance ground cover.

Qualified applications will be competitively scored to determine distribution of these limited funds. The maximum rebate per site is 75 percent of documented expenses up to $2,000. However, one or more lucky winners will be drawn from the pool of qualified applicants to get a limited expense paid rainscaping makeover for their yard. Sign up to receive the Deer Creek Watershed Alliance email newsletter at www.deercreekalliance.org for program details.
