The Danforth Center’s internship program began in 1999 and has grown progressively during its existence. Students in the program come from universities from all over the United States.
Each intern works with an experienced mentor and conducts an independent research project during the 11 week term. At the end of the 11 week term, the interns are given the opportunity to share the results of their research projects at the 2013 Undergraduate Research Internship Program Fourteenth Annual Symposium.
