The dates for Creve Coeur Days, 2014 have been set for Thursday thru Sunday, June 26, 27, 28 and 29 it was reported by Creve Coeur Days president, Ed Farber. The annual community festival, one of the largest in the county, will once again be held on the campus of De Smet Jesuit High School, 233 N. New Ballas Road in Creve Coeur.
Planning for the 4-day event by the Creve Coeur Days Board has begun. It is expected that many of the previous year’s activities will be repeated including the big carnival midway with carnival rides, game booths and food booths. As in the past, the planners of Creve Coeur Days are all volunteers dedicated to giving back to the community. A major share of profits from the event are distributed annually to worthy charitable and philanthropic organizations. While the city of Creve Coeur lends its support, the event is entirely planned and run by volunteer members of Creve Coeur Days, Inc., a non-profit organization which has been producing the festival since it first was organized in 1967.
