In honor of Fatherβs Day (Sunday, June 17), Pathways for Aging, a privately-held practice which provides in-home geriatric care management, counseling and coaching of adult children, will host a workshop on Tuesday, June 12th that will focus on the challenges men go through as they age and subsequent behavior changes that accompany them.
The presentation will be held at Pathways for Agingβs office at 745 Craig Road, Suite 212, Creve Coeur.Β Cost of the session, which will run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., is $28.50 and includes a light dinner, take-away workbook and interactive exercises to help in understanding Dad better. Tips for stress management, creating support systems and practical techniques for developing insight, empathy and respect for each other also will be discussed during the session.
Pathways for Aging is comprised of professional clinical social workers who hold masterβs degrees in social work or gerontology, are licensed in the State of Missouri and are Medicare-approved mental health providers.Β Under the guidance of company founder Jeannie Krause-Taylor, Pathways for Agingβs counselors strive to help change societyβs attitudes about aging by starting with individual older adults and improving how they live and approach life.
