The Pattonville High School Varsity Girls Soccer Team is hosting its 3rd Annual Kicks for Cancer Game, which raises funds for the Cardinal Kids Cancer Center at Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Four local teams --Pattonville, Hazelwood West, and Parkway South -- will play in the games, which will be held Thursday, April 19, at Parkway Central High School, 369 North Woods Mill Road, Chesterfield. Pattonville will play Hazelwood West at 5 p.m. and Parkway Central will play Parkway South at 7 p.m.
Last year, the teams raised $4,000 for the Cardinal Kids Cancer Center. This year, the goal is $10,000. Donations will be part of a raffle drawing that will take place during the half time of the second game. Raffle ticket sales begin April 1. All money raised will be donated to the center.
