This retreat will utilize the Right View of Mind to advance beginners as well as experienced practitioners in their meditation practice. Gilbert will lead us on a journey into the workings of the mind to reveal its natural processes. Once revealed, a practitioner is better prepared to utilize and sustain meditation methods. Additionally participants will receive practical examples of how to apply this insight to their every day life in order to generate a harmonizing and peaceful environment around them.

Our Instructor:
Gilbert Gutierrez, an attorney practicing in Riverside, California, began his meditation practice over 30 years ago. Gilbert received Dharma transmission in June 2002 from Master Sheng Yen. He is the only American to have received Dharma Heir status in the Dharma Drum lineage of Chan Buddhism, under Chan (Zen) Master Sheng-Yen.
