Robert Mach of Mach Distributors submitted a request for a text amendment to allow used-only car dealers in the “LI” Light Industrial zoning district with the stipulation that all sales and inquiries are by appointment or over the internet. All business operations will take place indoors, and at no time will vehicles be parked or stored outdoors.
A public hearing before the Planning and Zoning Commission (P&Z) is scheduled for Monday, October 3 at 7 pm. If the P&Z votes on a recommendation that night, it will be forwarded to the City Council for a first reading on October 10.
