Rug hooking is both an art and a craft where rugs are made by pulling loops of fabric through a stiff woven base.Β Although rug hooking dates back to the early 19th century rugβs continue to be made today and are considered in high demand by collectors.Β Enjoy the exhibit of rugs created by Earl OβRourke, who will also demonstrate this art as part of the exhibit.Β Pat OβRourke will demonstrate hand finishing of rugs.
