The conference highlights researching on the computer and available resources. Not all genealogical information is available on the Internet, but there is plenty to get you started. And the computer means you can do some genealogy in your easy chair in your pajamas.The featured speaker is internationally renowned speaker, David E. New this year, KMOX radio personality, Charlie Brennan, will give a short talk during the lunch hour on βTen Things Even Historians Donβt Know about St. Louis.β Then he will be available over the lunch hour to sell and sign his new book, Amazing St. Louis. A large vendor area will include local genealogy societies and genealogical vendors with publications on a variety of topics.
Rounding out the dayβs excitement will be six raffles including two one-year Ancestry.com subscriptions, a one-year membership in the National Genealogical Society, four hours of research from the St. Louis Genealogical Society Research team, and two sets of five permanent loan microfilms from FamilySearch.
