Fontbonne Appoints Matthew Banderman to Council of Regents
The Council Provides Guidance and Support to University Administrators

ST. LOUIS- Fontbonne University has named Matthew Banderman, District Director with Northwestern Mutual-St. Louis, to its Council of Regents. Banderman is an alumnus and long-time supporter of the university. The council is a non-governing body that provides guidance and support to university administrators.
“We are honored to add Matt to our Council of Regents,” said Dr. J. Michael Pressimone, Fontbonne president. “His unique perspective as an alum and businessman will surely support our existing leadership team and expand upon new ideas and efforts.”
Banderman graduated from Fontbonne in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. During his senior year at Fontbonne, he began an internship at Northwestern Mutual and was then offered a full-time position. He has been with the company for 15 years, serving as a financial representative and District Director. He is a four-time member of the Million Dollar Round Table and a four-time winner of the quality award from the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
“I am excited to be a part of Fontbonne’s Council of Regents,” Banderman said. “Fontbonne has done so much for me in my life, and I’m looking forward to giving back to the university. Serving on the Council of Regents is a great way to do that!”
