Free Diwali Festival
Join the Thornhill Branch for its second annual free Diwali Mela. Enjoy "Dances of India," sample delicious treats, or try a Henna tattoo.

Diwali Mela: Grand Celebration on Saturday, November 1st, 2014, 10:30 am-4:00 pm.
Join the Thornhill Branch of St. Louis County Library for its second annual Diwali Mela, or festival. Last yearβs event drew record breaking crowds. Diwali, a celebration popularly known as βthe festival of lightsβ, is a holiday observed throughout India. You are invited to learn and explore the color and culture of this popular festival with crafts and activities. Sample delicious refreshments catered by Mayuri Indian Restaurant, try a Henna tattoo, and visit our Rangoli Art Exhibit. The festival is completely FREE and open to the public. All ages welcome.
