Get Out: Hop, Trivia and Music

There are lots of activities on tap in and around Creve Coeur.


You've probably seen our Creve Coeur Patch Planners, designed to help you organize family friendly and grown-up weekend events. Starting today we're combining the two to provide one-stop shopping for finding activities that appeal to kids and adults. Look for this new "Get Out" planner every Thursday at 10 a.m. Each one will feature at least five fun events, destinations and activities in or around Creve Coeur. Sometimes we'll add a bonus item that may be a bit further afield, because there are times when a great event is worth the drive! Here's this week's version:

Why Go: The Pattonville High School Renaissance and Character Education Committees are hosting the school’s fifth annual β€œTaste of Pattonville” Sampler Night, a fun event featuring samples from restaurants and businesses in the Pattonville area. Proceeds will benefit the school’s Renaissance and Character Education Committees.

Why Go: The newΒ movie, Hop, will have a sensory friendly viewing. Sponsored by the Autism Society, the theater will have their lights on, sound down, and everyone will have the freedom to move around during the movie.

Why Go: MBU Vocal Jazz group Allusion & the MBU Jazz Band present their annual Club A concert in the Mabee Great Hall located in the Pillsbury Chapel and Dale William Fine Arts Center. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. Desserts and beverages available for purchase.

Why Go: This fun-filled event, put on by the Parkway Alumni Association, is open to all ages. Snacks and soft drinks are provided but teams are welcome to bring their own food and beverages.Β  Prizes will be awarded to the winning team and there will also be attendance and raffle prizes in addition to a silent auction.
