Harboring Resentments
Harboring resentments usually stems from low self esteem. Resenting a friend who has more of what you desire speaks to low self worth.

Our childhood sets the course of our lives. When we feel powerless to make desired changes..resentment, regret and anger appear. Some of us may have had a head start in life. Parents who were loving, intelligent and had financial resources to help us grow. However, as adults we are no longer powerless. We are creative, resourceful, intelligent in our own right and most are capable of change.
The beginning is believing that we can create more of the life we desire. First, changing our belief about ourselves is important. We can begin by being more attune to our thought process. Changing our thoughts change our feelings, which ultimately does change behavior. Similar to most new changes practice is necessary. We are each responsible for creating the life we desire.
