A
free workshop for Parents,
siblings, friends, coworkers and neighbors. We often feel scared and sometimes powerless
when we suspect that someone we care about is being abused by their partner.
The workshop highlights how to best support victims, encourage safe choices and
identify βred flagsβ of potentially lethal escalation. Participants learn the
βTen Things to Do or Sayβ and the βFive Things to Never Do or Sayβ when talking
with a domestic violence victim as well as separate βDo and Donβtβ lists for
engaging a perpetrator. The workshop is open to the public and all are welcome.
Please call to reserve a seat (314) 645-4848 by May 13. All fees are waived. Donations are
appreciated.
