Infertility, All in Your Head?

There are many different health problems or conditions that men & women experience but go somewhat unexplained.Β  Many times when there is no scientific explanation other than possibly a theory by the doctor, it can be put on the patient as all in their head.Β
This can happen especially if medication or another medical procedure was administered yet the problem still remains.Β  Patients want to be well, which is why they are seeking help and a cause other than genes or it's all in your head is what they really need.
When it comes to Infertility, they may be told that it is in their genes but no one is told that is in their head, right?Β  Well, not so fast.
At the base of the head there is an opening called The Foramen Magnum which means large hole.Β  Descending through this hole is your lower brainstem or Medulla Oblongata.Β  Your Medulla extends down into the second bone in your neck. This then becomes your spinal cord and is the origin of all of the nerves in your body including the nerves that go to your reproductive organs.
Any pressure upon nerves that go to your reproductive organs will alter their function which can possibly result in the inability to conceive a child.
This interference can be in either or both the mother-to-be or father-to-be and can be from a spinal mis-alignment called a Vertebral Subluxation.
In men and women who have a subluxation, they simply need to have that subluxation corrected so that proper function may return and they could have their baby without drugs or surgery.
The only healthcare professional with the proper training to detect and correct vertebral subluxations is the Doctor of Chiropractic.
Talk to your Chiropractor about this if you are having trouble and see if they can help.
We highly recommend checking both parents for spinal misalignments which while corrected virtually assures proper reproductive function and dramatically improves the odds of conception.
So you see, it just may be all in your head (in the base of your head and the top of your neck), where your master control center resides.
