Lauree Peterson-Sakai Joins VOYCE Board
Wells Fargo Executive Focuses on Helping Seniors

Lauree Peterson-Sakai, Elder Strategy Leader at Wells Fargo Advisors, has joined the board of directors at VOYCE. VOYCE is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to ensuring a high quality of life for the estimated 22,000 people living in long-term care in its service area in Eastern and North Central Missouri.
At Wells Fargo Advisors, Peterson-Sakai is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring risk-based compliance programs that assess issues of concern with elderly clients. In her role, she develops innovative approaches to providing elderly care services and plans that effectively manage the life changes for clients.

“Lauree brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our board,” said Mary Lynn Faunda Donovan, executive director at VOYCE. “Through her work at Wells Fargo Advisors she has a deep understanding of the issues facing seniors and the importance of protecting seniors’ interests.”

Peterson-Sakai joined Wells Fargo Advisors’ predecessor organization in 1996. She served as a risk manager for Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, a business channel for independent brokers, where her team had the responsibility of mitigating risk by developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance to firm and regulatory rules. She also has extensive branch experience as a branch operations manager and as a compliance branch examiner.
She also serves as a board member with Memory Care Home Solutions. Lauree holds her Series 7, 63 and 24 financial licenses.
A United Way Agency, VOYCE strives toward a high quality of life for those living on the long-term care continuum by empowering and educating individuals and families. VOYCE provides advocacy services to individuals who reside in more than 350 skilled nursing, assisted living and residential care communities in Greater St. Louis and northeast Missouri. More than 50% of these individuals have no one to advocate on their behalf.
