Provisions Closing Olive Blvd. Location Next Month

A favorite for "foodies" in Creve Coeur is apparently in its last days at its longtime home.

said the word got out on Monday that the doors would close at the Olive Blvd. site sometime next month. That was the same day St. Louis social columnist Jerry Berger cited City Place developer Bill Koman, Jr. as saying "Provisions Gourmet Market on his Creve Coeur property is destined for departure."

Representatives for the and Provisions were not available for official comment Friday, but Provisions customers were being told Friday afternoon that there are plans to relocate to an area in plaza space near the St. Louis Bread Company across from the on North New Ballas Rd., with an emphasis on wine and cheese.
