In eclipsing the $1 billion mark in loan volume for the eighth consecutive year in 2016, USA Mortgage/DAS Acquisition Company, LLC (USA/DAS) continues to pace competitors in metro St. Louis. “While we take nothing for granted, we are on our way to being the #1 mortgage lender in metro St. Louis for the fifth consecutive year,” stated Doug Schukar, president and chief executive officer of USA/DAS, the largest mortgage bank in metro St. Louis.

According to year-to-date statistics for Metro St. Louis compiled by Marketrac®, USA/DAS holds 8.46% of the total closed home loans market, followed by Cornerstone Mortgage with 5.53%. USA/DAS is even more dominant in the new purchase home loan segment with an 11.62% market share – nearly double Cornerstone’s 6.53% share.
