Why Do I Feel So Anxious About Everything?
Anxiety and depression are two of the most common reasons people seek therapy or counseling.

Most of the time feelings of anxiety and depression stretch back to our childhoods. As much as some do not want to hear this...it is true. Many have experienced major trauma(s) in their lives. Such as, abuse(sexual, physical and/or emotional), feelings of abandonment, unresolved grief and loss and feelings of inferiority.
Through the years we do whatever is needed to move forward. Even if that means stuffing our feelings and what happened to us. Often, we use avoidance as a coping mechanism. We avoid anything that may trigger those original feelings.
Learning to deal with our thoughts and emotions while feeling safe and supported is crucial to feeling better. You owe it to yourself.
