• Firefighters rescue 7 dogs from Pacific house fire (dailydispatch.com) — Fire crews from Pacific, Eureka, Boles, and Metro West teamed up Monday to rescue seven dogs from a house fire in Pacific, with all the animals surviving after on-scene care. No people were hurt, and the Meramec Ambulance District highlighted how prior animal-care training helped responders give oxygen, water, and safe shelter to the pets.
