Contraception and the Catholic Church
Archbishop to be William Lori, Catholic Church, Contraception and Sterilization

After seeing Archbishop to be William Lori speak on Sunday to Meet The Press, and the comments made to him, I found the speaker to be ill informed and out of line.
The biggest factor in this is that as a Catholic man, I know the Catholic Church is self-insured, which means the Catholic Church will be required to pay for contraception, sterilization and abortion services. That contradicts the doctrine in which our faith is based. Why this is not understood by so many is beyond me.
This topic has me at the very least confused, with people saying it is to avoid providing reproductive services to women. I would love to provide ultrasounds, mammograms, breast exams, and any exams and testing, as well as treatment that does not go against my religious beliefs.
