Final Update on Eureka's North Street/Forby Road Construction
My last blog about a big, local construction project. Thanks for keeping up with me and the new "Roberta Lane."
It looks like construction and painting of lines is now complete on North Street and Forby Road in Eureka.
I even cut the grass before the first day of spring. So I enclose new pictures taken Sunday of my front on North Street, showing the new sod growing now along the street; one showing the front of my home; and one pointing north toward the city side, while the third shows my old lot, which again will be 125 West North.
These were all taken from the middle of the new street to be dubbed "Roberta" in memory of my late wife. Roberta Lane will be 26 feet wide, and serve 125 West North and two lots of more than 1 acre each located with good views to the north.
Dale Hicks And Associates are now completing the first new home on Forby Road, and there will be three more fine lots in that location. A first viewing of the new house occurred last week, and Hicks believes the quality and location will make them all salable properties. So, when you think of buying, remember Weber Hill as you see the progress.
This might be the last blog on the new road construction, so I want to thank the builders for their fine work.
