Kelsey Shea for the MLB Fan Cave

Native Wildwoodian, Kelsey Shea Weinrich's, campaign for the 2012 MLB Fan Cave job draws to a close.

As my Fan Cave campaign draws to a close, I would like to thank anyone who has supported me in any way! This experience has changed my life, and it's all because of people like you.

Last week, I spent an amazing 48 hours in Arizona with some of the MLB's top executives and the other contestants. And what we discovered is that everyone is over-qualified for this job. There are so many entertaining baseball fans out there in the world, and I'm just so glad we found each other!

I should be getting a call in the next couple days, and until then I'll be the girl sitting nervously by her phone, fumbling with the TV remote or some other kind of distraction. But no matter what happens next, I feel like everyone in the Top 30...and even the Top 50...has already won.

If you want to make a last-ditch effort to support me, head on over to the MLB Fan Cave's Facebook page and let them know why you think they should pick me!

And hopefully the next time you hear from me, I'll be in NYC!
