New Trend: Short-Sales Of Luxury Real Estate

Slow sales of high-priced real estate are problematic; short-sales luxury trend might correct industry and put people back to work.

Real estate always has provided the ultimate leverage for any business or investment vehicle, however the power of leverage has just been elevated to a whole new level, using virtual luxury home short-sale investing.

I was informed about and received some education on the process, but I just don't think I am ready to get personally involved.

It sounds like a good method to move some of the millions of houses in foreclosure or about to be. This group has thrown short-sales open to anyone who wants to participate.  They say that 100 percent of the work is done by real estate agents and professional short-sale negotiators, so finders do not need any cash or credit to acquire these deals.

The entire process runs on autopilot, so one can do what you want when you want, so one does not work, but does make most of the money.

Bottom line:  Luxury short-sales are the most profitable investing strategy for today's market.

The originators of this method have developed buyers for the distressed properties, and because luxury, waterfront homes are attractive to the foreign and other investors and are so overbuilt, there is a niche to fill, which sounds attractive.

This gives a shut-in, like myself, huge leverage in today's marketplace when most of the communication is done on the Internet.  It was an interesting study to look into their methods, and it just might be a way to relieve the jam in high-priced real estate.

Social trends are a part of the process, as in San Antonio, TX. I am told by friends, property is moving among investors farther north of San Antonio, due to the drugs, crime, etc., happening near the border.

As one who was involved in local real estate for more than 50 years, it is frightening to see how slow things are moving now.

So I suggest you put short-sales of luxury real estate on you list of things to watch in the near future.
