Weber Hill Project Progresses

Construction developer Dale Hicks was involved in the Enderbush development across North Street from my home in Eureka. I'm sure the quality he showed there will carry on in Weber Hill.

Now that the Forby Road/North Street improvements are just about completed, I've got a new construction project in my backyard.

Dale Hicks' Eureka development, Weber Hill, is moving along. What a difference a new road can make. They have been waiting for years for this new road, and now it is here.

The development backs to the property and sides to Eureka's . It has a new trail across the street that will connect to the trail systems in and . The lots have beautiful, scenic views to the east, and will be 1-acre, fully developed lots with all utilities in the heart of Eureka. There is nothing else like it anywhere in the area.

Hicks is currently installing the conduit for electric, phone and cable, and plans to install a new water main and private street to serve the two, 1-acre lots adjoining the high school property very soon.

They have a new home at 311 Forby Road that is part of the Weber Hill development that is nearing completion. They are targeting completion within 30 to 45 days. The fireplace has just been installed, and they are waiting for Ameren Missouri to get power to the house. This is a truly unique house that boasts an Energy Star certification, and features hydronic radiant floor heat throughout, including the three-car, attached garage. The floor plan is versatile and can accommodate a larger family with children still at home or empty nesters or even singles. For example, there is a large room that can be used as a formal living room or formal dining room; there is a room with lots of windows facing south that could be a formal living room, study, sun room or even bedroom; and three bedrooms that could each serve as master bedrooms with each having a private bath. The list of features goes on and on.

The main street for Weber Hill will be called Roberta Lane in tribute to my late wife.
