The Grand Ballroom of the St. Louis Union Station Hotel was buzzing with excitement as 700 people sat down to a festive Walk Awards Banquet hosted by JDRF Greater Missouri and Southern Illinois Chapter.  Board President Emily Rapp set a tone of celebration as she welcomed top fund raising teams and special honorees.

Sponsored by Dobbs Tire and Auto Centers, Edward Jones and Arrowhead Building Supply,  JDRF’s Annual Walk and Ride Awards Banquet recognized some very special people in the Greater Missouri and Southern Illinois Chapter who are doing all they can to help find a cure for T1D.

JDRF (formerly the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) sets the agenda for type 1 diabetes worldwide.  The organization aggressively translates discoveries into tangible treatments that help people with T1D live healthier lives NOW, while work continues toward a cure.  Everyone is invited to help turn Type One into Type None.
