(Ages 10 and Up) Nothing beats a summer float trip! Better yet, nothing beats a summer float with a group of Naturalists to help guide and discover nature on the river! Join us for a float trip on the Meramec River near Eureka, MO between Pacific Palisades Conservation Area and the Allenton Access. This 7 mile stretch of river is full of fascinating nature to explore and discover. We’ll learn about aquatic ecosystems, flooding, erosion events, how wildlife survive in a changing river world and the role that we all can play in protecting our aquatic resources. All participants must be good swimmers and have at least one participant over 18 years of age per canoe. Please also be prepared with snacks, lunch, water and sun protection. Pre-float instructions will be provided once registered.
(Reservations begin July 1.) Please call (636)458-2236.
