
The City of Wildwood will sponsor a Severe Weather Observation / Spotter Training Class on Oct. 11, at 7 p.m. at the , 183 Plaza Drive. The class is open to all, including those outside the area, and is offered free of charge.
Prior registration is not required.
The class provides information on identifying severe weather, severe weather safety, and how to report severe weather events. Learn how to identify cloud formations that can lead to tornadoes and other severe weather. Learn how to take safety precautions during severe weather at home, school, at work, or in your car. This is information that could save your life.

Quality reports by trained observers lead to more accurate and timely weather warnings. All citizens are urged to take advantage of this training opportunity and provide a much-needed community volunteer service. Prior students are welcomed for a refresher class.
