Hollywood 5 Band Rocks Eureka for Third Time
St. Louis area band recently performed for Eurekans, and said they "love Eureka." Take a look behind the scenes, including video clips.
"The band is a good way to do our hobby," said Jason Nelson, lead singer of Hollywood 5, a St. Louis area band that performed at Fourth of July gathering for the third year in a row. "Some guys play baseball or throw darts; we do music," he said.
Nelson said Hollywood 5 members are family guys who have been together for 10 years. They are a variety band who perfom at weddings and private events. Nelson said they span a huge spectrum of musical genres, including country, rock, dance rock, pop, blues, modern, even the 1950s.
Nelson is a St. Louis University student. The two guitar players in the band are brothers. One band member is a full-time musician, one is a data technician and one is a financial analyst.
