Lafayette Volleyball Falls to St. Joseph's Academy
For three years standing, the Lafayette High girls' varsity volleyball team opened their seasons by playing St. Joseph's Academy.
girls' varsity volleyball players ended up with three losses to St. Joseph’s Academy last Tuesday for their season opener, but the points reveal teams closely matched. The scores were reported as 25-23, 21-25, 25-17, in lhsimage.com.
“I think we all played really great. Overall, we hustled a lot and played great defense with a lot of good kills, too. We are definitely going to be training even harder after that match (St. Joe) and will work on all aspects of our game to improve before the next face off with St. Joe,” junior Stephanie Campbell said in The Image interview.
