Memorial for Bernice Mertz

Bernice Mertz (nee Blanner), 99, died April 24, 2011. She was a Wildwood resident.

She was the wife of the late Ben Mertz; mother of Willie (Betty) Mertz and Cordell (Darlene) Mertz; grandmother of Cheri (Kenny) Fisher and Kevin (Lori) Mertz; and great-grandmother of Scott (Natalie), Matthew and Jennifer Fisher, Rachel Cunningham and Aaron Mertz.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway in Ballwin. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 12345 Manchester Rd., Des Peres, MO 63131 or a charity of choice.
