Memorial for Lura Coffey
Visitation for this Eureka resident will be held from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Schrader Funeral Home in Eureka.
Lura Coffey (nee Denton), 78, died March 7. She was a Eureka resident.
She was born on March 12, 1933, to the late Ezra and Rosa Denton in Overton County, TN. She had five sisters and two brothers. She met her sweetheart for life, Hobart Coffey, and they wed on Sept. 5, 1950. Together, they had five children (Bobby, Herbert, Rita, Darlene and Stephen), and raised their family in Eureka.
She enjoyed playing bingo, taking walks with her husband and dog (Pokey), spending time with her friends and family, going to church and reading her Bible. Her entire life was devoted to her family.Β

She was preceded in death by her two sons Bobby and Stephen. She is survived by her husband Hobart Coffey, as well as her children Herbert Coffey, Rita Carlon (Dwain), Darlene Diekmann (Kenneth); her grandchildren Michelle Cissell (Eric), Luke Coffey (Emily), Ashley Deckelman (Bill), Jesse Coffey, Denton Coffey, Darin Hardwick (Amberly), Holly Doucette (Jason), Julie Ziesemann (Jeffrey), and Jerry Diekmann (Julie Marie); and her great-grandchildren Cory, Cody, Brooklyn, Danika, a baby girl on the way, Abigail, Delaney, Westley, Kenneth, William, Theodore, and her sister, Edith Crabtree of Tennessee.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at . Internment will be at the Sunset Cemetery in Pacific, MO.Β
