Powder Puff Game at Eureka Delivers Action
HUGE PHOTO GALLERY: It was far from puff on the Eureka High School football field Thursday evening when the senior and junior girls took the field to battle each other.
The 12th annual Powder Puff Football game at drew quite a crowd Thursday evening, despite the rainy afternoon that preceded it.
Wildcat senior women were coached by Eureka teachers C.J. Herbert and Michael McGehee. Wildcat junior women were coached by Johnathon White and Mr. Fletcher.
Proceeds from the game were donated to Joplin High School tornado relief fund as well as the Renaissance program for Eureka High. Renaissance acknowledges the educational achievements and outstanding contributions of students and staff through a process of recognition, reinforcement and reward.

At the end of the half, the score was seniors 30 to juniors 14. Points from safeties became a factor for the game. With another touchdown scored in the last 35 seconds of the game, Wildcat senior women won 55 to juniors 23.
