Which 15 will Smell like a ROSE in Rockwood?
The list of 2012 ROSE Award nominees was announced this week, and schools based in Eureka and Wildwood have notable representation.

Excellence of character, performance, leadership and service to the are attributes sought in nominees for the district's annualΒ Rockwood Outstanding Service in Education (ROSE) awards.
The ROSE Award is one of Rockwoodβs highest honors, because it is presented to those who have made a difference in a child's life, in a Rockwood school, or in the Rockwood community. Nominees are teachers, parent volunteers, district employees, administrators and community supporters.
More than 245 individuals are 2012 ROSE Award nominees, according to a Rockwood School District announcement. The ROSE Award selection committee members will meet this month to review the nominations. ROSE Award recipients will be notified on Feb. 28, and will be honored at a ceremony on May 6 at the Doubletree HotelβWestport.
