Wildwood Business Association Officers Elected

Newly elected officers assumed their roles for the organization Thursday evening.

A new group of officers was elected for the at Thursday night's membership meeting held at Living Word United Methodist Church in Wildwood.

New officers are:Β  Holly Ferris, Keller Williams Realty, president; Gayle Grabish, Unique Toys and Games, secretary; Kathryn Chillson Strinic, Electro Savings Credit Union, treasurer; David Coleman, PNC Bank, membership chair; Tim Ward, Legends Financial Services, special events chair; Katie Mulchek, Living Word, marketing; and Mikel Garrett, State Farm Insurance, city liaison.

Association member Harold Rau announced a newly designed website for the group.

There are now 70 members in the organization, reflecting a diverse set of services, interests and resources.

Mikel Garrett said the association's officers recently sent a letter to Wildwood Mayor Tim Woerther indicating the group had dissolved the position of a city council member designated as a representative to the association.Β  Instead, Garrett has been attending city council meetings to represent the association directly.Β

"With a growing number of members, the Wildwood Business Association is definitely gaining credibility," said Holly Ferris.

Association members intend to attend the Business Appreciation Dinner hosted by city of Wildwood officials March 31.

The group's next monthly membership meeting will be April 7 at Living Word from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
