Zoom to 212 Fitness Jam in Eureka Sunday

New 'Eureka Fitness' company is "where fit finds fun," especially on Feb. 12.

Ready for a jam-packed exercise event? Then sign up for 212 Fitness Jam to be hosted from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. this Sunday by Eureka Fitness. Eureka Fitness is a new exercise firm owned by Daveann (Davi) Degenhart.

Located at 30 Thresher Rd. in , the fitness facility formerly was known as , which offered a combination of sports, fitness and martial arts classes.

Degenhart recently took over the rental of the location to offer classes for Zumba, Turbo Kick, Core Training, Power Hour, Kaboot and X Fit.

This Sunday, she said five instructors will each direct 15- to 20-minute mini-classes. Admission is $20 per participant.

"After each segment will be a 10-minute break and healthy snacks provided," said Degenhart.

"This is a great way for students to try the other classes offered that they are not able to because of work schedules, etc."

Medals will be given to each participant who finishes, she said.

For regular classes, Eureka Fitness offers three payment options:Β  a single-class rate; a use-it-or-lose-it deal that expires in two months; and a 30-day membership that provides for unlimited classes within that period.
