Kaiser Electric Hired Electrical Contractor on New Wesclin High School Project in Trenton, IL

Fenton-based Kaiser Electric was recently hired as the electrical contractor on the new Wesclin High School project in Trenton, IL. The $24 million project started on April 1 and is expected to be completed in June 2014. Trenton is located 32 miles east of St. Louis, MO.
The new 117,500 square-foot school is under construction at 10003 State Road 160 in the Wesclin Community Unit School District #3, adjacent to the existing high school which will be used for grades 4-8. The new single-story facility will include administrative offices, labs, agriculture and wood shops, a media center, cafetorium, stage, gymnasium and 24 additional classrooms.

Kaiser Electric crews will provide complete electrical installation on the project which includes lighting, building power and lighting distribution, and low voltage systems for voice/data, building access controls, CCTV, classroom Smartboards, intercom system and the fire and alarm systems.
Holland Construction Services, Swansea, IL, is the general contractor; FGM Architects, O'Fallon, IL, is the architect; and Bric Partnership, Belleville, IL, is the consulting engineer.
