The West County chapter of the International MOMS Club® is meeting Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. at its new home, the Grand Glaize Library in 1010 Meramec Station Road in Manchester.
The group, which consists of nearly 40 stay-at-home moms and their children, has grown considerably since launching in March 2013 and recently moved its monthly business meeting to the library because it needed a bigger meeting space.
The chapter welcomes moms from Eureka, Wildwood, Valley Park, Ballwin, Manchester, Chesterfield and Fenton. The moms meet the first Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m. to welcome potential new members and conduct any business of the club. Snacks are provided and children are welcome. The group also hosts play dates nearly every day of the week and has a book club, a weekly stroller walk, a monthly MOMS Night Out and other activities for a $20 annual membership fee. If you would like to attend the Oct. 1 meeting, please email stlwestcomoms@gmail.com. And please share this information with any stay-at-home moms you know in the West County area!
