Auto Thefts: Boyfriend and Seller's Remorse?

Corisande Hills Road, Fenton

A man entered an apartment on Corisande Hills Road, Fenton, on May 24, and stole $200, a cell phone and the keys to a woman's vehicle vehicle, a tan 1999 Toyota Corolla, which also was stolen. The woman told a sheriff's deputy the stolen items were on a living room coffee table. She also said she and the suspect were in a relationship until about two months ago. Text messages on the woman's phone indicated the man intended to come by the house and kill her, according to the sheriff's report.

Mt. Everest Dr., Fenton

A White 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier was stolen May 25 from parking lot of an apartment complex on Mt. Everest Dr., Fenton. The car was valued at $1,400.The vehicle's owner told a sheriff's deputy she suspected the previous owner of the vehicle in the theft as he expressed regret over the sale and offered several times to purchase it back. The woman said she did not have the vehicle's title but showed a completed bill of sale to the deputy.
