Be First To Drive New 45 MPH Go-Karts at Pole Position

While an indoor go-kart track in Crestwood remains under construction, they have a holiday treat for prospective customers: a limited run of gift certificates. 

Pole Position Raceway is currently constructing a 56,000-square-foot go-kart facility in the former Value City department store on Watson Road. Their battery-operated go-karts, fit for youth and adult riders, can travel up to 45 miles per hour. The track is expected to open in spring 2013.

Roughly 200 $25 gift certficates are currently available for purchase for the holidays, owner Mike Johnson said in an email. They're being sold for $20 each while supplies last, with a limit of five per customer.

These customers will also have the opportunity to particiate in pre-opening activities, he said.

Those interested can stop by the raceway, at 8800 Watson Rd., on the following dates:

• Friday, Dec. 15: 4-7 p.m.
• Satuday, Dec. 16: 11 a.m. - 3 p.m.
• Sunday, Dec. 17: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Checks for $20-$100 can be mailed to the store, 8800 Watson Rd. St. Louis MO 63119, with the customer's name, phone number, street address, and email address.
