"I've Always Loved that House"

Anyone that knew of Family Dentistry in Maplewood always made the same remark… "I've Always Loved that House"

Quoting a friend and local Maplewood resident Matt Owens: "My favorite house in Maplewood. I used to ride my bike by it every day wishing I could live there one day." 

He asked me to photograph it in its present state so he would have something to remember it by. Everything was covered in icicles from the fire trucks and it did have a very eerie beauty about it.

I photographed it last Saturday evening and early Sunday morning, before the warm weather melted the ice. I gave all of the images a stark cold feel by duotoning them in a blue/sepia. I hope you like them.
