Recently I noted an ad run by Ken Horton in the Leader where three other well known candidates endorsed him. Well, this is sad for these politicians to throw their influence behind Mr. Horton considering he has made statements that he is still in control of the records of the Jefferson County Tea Party, however, he has still refused to open the books to me or anyone else and has not provided proof of any audits during his time as leader of the JCTP and because I dared to point this fact out, he tried to extort $1,000 from me on this very blog to prove his innocence. It must also be noted that these candidates support him even after he threatened to throw me out of his fund raiser because I dared to ask for proof of how the donations to JCTP were being used and I asked for a copy of the balance sheet.
Mr. Horton has also continued to attack me on this very blog by spreading a lie that I was fired from the Jeffco Council - oh that's right, he reiterated and said I resigned. This is without a doubt a purposeful attack on my character and evidently, the three candidates above agree with him or why would they endorse him?
As a candidate for treasurer of Jefferson County, I would hope the residents expect Mr. Horton to be financially clean and truthful and if there is doubt about this, he should not be voted in to continue his corrupt practices on a much larger scale with our tax dollars.

In finishing, let me say, I am sorry to witness politicians sticking together again and ignoring the very people that have supported them through multiple campaigns. I constantly search for people that have ethics, a set of standards and respect for the little guy. Ken Horton is not one of them!
Now I'm sure I will get attacked from Mr. Horton's minions, but I have proof of everything I wrote in this blog. In addition, I am not running for public office and have nothing to gain by lying, can you say the same Mr. Horton?
