The Colors and Textures of Decay
Artistic renderings of interiors in collapsing homes on the South Side.
I am putting together a series of photos called "Inside the Southside", which is all about the decaying interiors of homes in south city. I'm fascinated with the textures and colors and everthing else that time does to these buildings. I love breathing a new life into them one last time. This home is on the southside facing Benton Park, and is being readied for rehab. It will eventually be turned into an "Energy Star", "Green" home by Patti Maher, an expert in this field.
