Eerie Beauty of Extreme Weather

My name is Ferd and this blog is about my photographs - what they are about, how I reached the final image, answering questions about the images, and hopefully getting feedback and learning from you. 

My images are all digital, and are processed in Photoshop and a few other applications.  I try and get the best possible capture, and then edit.  I love the editing process …  It fascinates me.  Most of my images have a painterly look. It's the way I envision them.

Since we are in flood, storm and tornado season, I have decided to start my first blog with a few images on this subject.

As we all know, the effects of extreme weather can be very devastating , but it also can have an a very eerie beauty.  My goal is to try and capture that eerie beauty.
